Fleet Foxes – Helplessness Blues

Fleet Foxes return with a brilliant album that shows the band intricately infusing their indentifiable sound with… durp de durp de durp.

Fleet Foxes, along with Joanna Newsom, have made twee, folk-esque music cool and even fashionable. This whole scenario started with the Floxes first EP ‘Sun Giant’ that contained a humble little slice of folk-rock and acted as a teaser for the  successful debut album self titled ‘Fleet Foxes’ . Since then the main man Robin Pecknold has played with a guy from Grizzly Bear, Joanna Newson and even making a couple of mediocre songs.

As per  usual there’s a lick before you bite.
